Changelog
Customer-visible changes. Updated 2026-10-27. Scoring rules stay on How we score.
- Security checks in comparisons. Comparing two reports now lists Security Pass checks that started passing or started failing, including on a monitor score-drop note. The overall score is unchanged.
- AI visibility in comparisons. Comparing two reports now lists AI visibility checks that started passing or started failing, including on a monitor score-drop note. The overall score is unchanged.
- Score badge, referrals, and API docs. The homepage and the pricing page now name the embeddable score badge, the referrals page, and the API docs. Prices are unchanged.
- Embed your score. Every completed report shows the score badge and a snippet you can paste on your site, including when you open the report from the email link. The same snippet is in the downloaded report.
- Schema.org required properties. Paid reports now check JSON-LD for the properties a rich result needs, such as a Product offer or an Article headline. The findings sit beside the technical checks and are not part of the overall score.
- Readability and keywords in the copy review. Paid reports now count sentences that are hard for a 16-year-old English reading level, and list repeated words and phrases from the visible text. The counts sit beside the copy review and are not part of the overall score.
- CSS health score. Paid reports now score the stylesheets and style blocks on the page you submitted. The grade covers performance, maintainability, and complexity, and it stays separate from the overall score.
- Competitor benchmark in the report. Name a competitor in the wizard and the finished report compares technical scores side by side, including the checks one site passes and the other does not.
- Score-drop alerts for monitors. When a monitor audit finishes, we email you if the overall score drops by your threshold (5 points unless you set another number; 0 emails every run). An optional public https webhook can receive the same note in Slack or Discord.
- Crawl findings for structure. Crawls now flag pages nothing else links to, pages four or more clicks from the start URL, canonical chains, and hreflang tags that do not point back.
- 30-day re-check. A paid report schedules a free re-scan 30 days later and emails what changed since the purchase.
- Free website score guide. A public guide explains what the free scan checks, and that it is not a Lighthouse or Core Web Vitals report.
- Checkout stays on the site. Paid checkout uses Embedded Checkout on WebVitalist instead of sending you to a hosted Stripe page.
